We now only have nine weeks until the main event, and as the build up to the festival begins we have exciting new acts and activities to add to the already packed programme, as well as tremendous new ticket offers.
We are welcoming yet more acts to our festival, with the exciting addition of Maia, a local band that combines Folk and Rock influences to create a unique folk experience. Also performing this year are the wildly talented Raven, introducing their own brand of rootsy folk, beautiful acapella and sizzling salsa. Cornucopia will also be hosting the legendary Johnny Pat and the Aces, a rock and roll band so good that they’ve been performing since the 1950s!

Calling all artists...
Cornucopia Festival has always encouraged and celebrated artistic expression, and this year we are calling on you to express yours. From generous donations from companies in the area, we have received some garden sheds that desperately need decorating. Whether you are a professional artist, a school group, or just fancy a go, get in touch with us at info@cornucopiafestival.co.uk, the more imaginative and unusual the better!
New Music
The Off the Road Stage is fit to bursting, with Sea of Wires, Elwhaeko, Froot67 and Streaming Lights confirmed. We are also welcoming Morkwind, Black Delta Movement, Shiznitz, Jackson Dee, Behind Closed Doors, Black Kes, Young Jack, All For One Choir and a Church service on the Sunday morning.

Comedy and Culture
In addition Cornucopia is proud to host Comedy Buzz, who will be running its own comedy club at the festival. The Buzz, which has been running for over 25 years, is headed by John Marshall and has launched the careers of Steve Coogan, John Bishop, Alan Carr, Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey, Lee Evans, Harry Hill and Jason Manford, to name but a few.
We have the exciting confirmation of a light show from Via Productions, it’s not just lighting, it’s a unique dramatic event that will throw the whole festival into a riot of colour! So don’t forget to buy yourself a ticket before they are all gone!
Cornucopia is still as family-friendly as it ever was, welcoming Around the World with Rusticus, an exciting artist led walking event around Burton Constable Hall, inspired by its surroundings. This site-specific interactive family performance blends storytelling, music and craft to create a magical family memory.
