Jessica Pymm

My name is Jessica Pymm. I live in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Music has always been a big part of my life. I have always had a keen interest in singing and playing musical instruments.

I have been fortunate enough in my education to have some high quality instrumental music lessons.  I went onto study both flute and classical singing where I obtained grade 8 distinction in both disciplines.

After leaving school I went onto study at Leeds College of Music, where I majored in opera performance and composition. I had some valuable opportunities to work and perform with Opera North, Lynne Dawson and my vocal tutor Christian Immler who are leading professionals in their field.

I now sing and perform with local choirs in the area and perform as a soloist. I am an avid composer and enjoy spending my time writing music in my studio.

My compositions have recently been aired on radio stations in America and more locally on BBC Introducing radio Humberside.

More recently I have been working on an orchestral arrangement of one of my compositions ‘The Search for Serenity.’ This piece will be premiered by the East Riding Youth Orchestra at their summer showcase concert on July 17th 2017 at Hull City Hall. Followed by a further performance at the Cornucopia festival.
