Event now moved to 2018. Here's why.......
Cornucopia Festival is now in its sixth year and has an enviable and deserved reputation for being a wonderful, safe, friendly, well managed and run weekend experience with an incredible and loyal team of managers, crew and volunteers together with a beautiful and incredibly supportive venue.
After an initially extremely good start to ticket sales it has become evident that this level of sales has not continued and it is therefore with great sadness and after a great deal of very careful thought that the festival directors and management have taken what they feel is the responsible decision to not continue with this year's festival and to refund all ticket sales.
The disappointing level of ticket sales is undoubtedly due to a number of factors but poor economic conditions and the current unusually high number of local competitive free and funded events, some being due to 2017 being Hull City of Culture year, are certainly major issues for the festival.
The directors should like to thank everybody involved with the festival and especially our wonderful ticket buyers for their support and hope that you will understand just how hard this decision has been, but to maintain trust and confidence in the festival this decision has had to be made at this time.
In the meantime we are now working on Cornucopia 2018 - To keep updated register your interest now
All those who have purchased tickets in advance will be contacted soon and offered a full refund or alternatively 2018 event tickets at 2017 prices.
Thank you...Rupert Harrison Commercial Director
